HMRC staff – We'll love you more

shutterstock_549542641With the BBC reporting that up to 38,000 staff from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC staff) will be expected to move large distances as part of the planned digitisation programme, isn’t it time we started loving these people a little more.

And IRIS FMP Payroll Services want to lead the way, by offering home-based payroll jobs to suitably qualified HMRC staff that don’t want to relocate, in some instances up to 174 miles, if they want to keep their jobs.

The National Audit Office (NAO) report is critical of the unrealistic plans to replace 170 offices across the UK with 13 large regional centres, inevitably increasing uncertainty among HMRC employees.

You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, processing Payrolls of varying frequencies. This is a role that covers the payroll process from start to finish, building schedules with your clients to arrange receipt of data/reports, processing the pay run information, providing the client with required reports to check and reconcile their Payroll, arranging payment, including creation of BACS files, closing the pay run for each period, printing and dispatching Payslips.
