International payroll specialist IRIS FMP has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Global Payroll Team of the Year. The Global Payroll Association will be announcing the winner of the award at the awards night to be held in Amsterdam in June 2017.
The Global Payroll Association Payroll Awards recognise technical excellence and professional development amongst companies and their payroll teams operating internationally. It is currently the only award ceremony in the world for professionals involved in global payroll, taking place for the first time in the Netherlands.
It is the first time IRIS FMP has been shortlisted for the Global Payroll Team of the Year, and CEO Justin Cottrell is delighted: ‘The Global Payroll Association Payroll Awards recognise excellence in the payroll industry. Our UK team won the Judges Award for Outstanding Achievement at the awards in 2016, and this nomination cements our position as the supplier of choice both in the UK and internationally. Our success is built on having great people in our company and I’m delighted for the international team, who work tirelessly to ensure company employees around the world can easily be paid.”
The Global Payroll Team of the Year award looks for outstanding performance in the following areas:
• Results – cost savings, improved processes
• Problem-solving – how challenges have been presented and overcome
• Commitment – outstanding effort under testing circumstances
• Improvements in global payroll performance
• Achievement of targets and/or incentives
• Implementation – of new procedures or systems
• Excellent teamwork and communication with other departments
The Global Payroll Association is the first international payroll association of its kind, with US, UK and European offices.
The Awards night in Amsterdam will be held on 8th June 2017.
