IRIS FMP is delighted to announce that we have been re-awarded the CIPP Payroll Assurance Scheme accreditation, cementing our commitment to compliance standards in the payroll profession.
PAS affirms that our payroll and payroll-related processes are fully fit for purpose and appropriately comply with government legislation. You can rest assured that a PAS-accredited provider such as ourselves has controls in place to reduce errors and that should legislation change, we are ready to keep on top of it.
To achieve this re-accreditation, IRIS FMP was subject to a vigorous assessment that focused strongly on the processes that our payroll officers and departments practise to ensure that all deductions made from employees’ pay are accurate and accounted for to HMRC and other relevant authorities. CIPP commented on our achievement, stating that, “Your certificate is a reflection of the great work of the payroll team.”
PAS also encompasses benefits, expenses and other obligations covered by authorities such as UK Visas and Immigration, and the Information Commissioner. The scheme is fully supported by HMRC.
Justin Cottrell, CEO of IRIS FMP commented on our PAS re-accreditation, stating, “The CIPP Payroll Assurance Scheme accreditation is hugely important to us. It looks at all elements of what we do on a day-to-day basis, including HR, tax, legal and finance. Being a part of this scheme substantiates what we already know; that we are at the top of our game, fully compliant and that existing and potential clients can and should have every confidence in us as a payroll provider.”
The CIPP Payroll Accreditation for IRIS FMP is now valid for two more years, at which point we will welcome being re-assessed for accreditation again. For more information about the scheme please click here.
